Thanks Allen... that worked although when I tried to install service pack
2, I received a message saying that I needed to install service pack 1
first. After installing service pack 1 , service pack 2 still gave me an
install error message telling me it couldnt install SR2, "... maybe due to
multiple office 97 installations on this computer".
But SR1 solved the problem.

A dim recollection says that this was a limitation in a component of
Access 97, and that was addressed long ago by the service packs.
If you do not have Service Release 2 for Office 97, download them from:
http://support.microsoft.com/support...cks/Office/97/
That should do the trick, but post back if it doesn't.

installing another 512 MB (1024 MB total) and suddenly I am getting an out of
