perl linux and ms-access

Has anyone tried to use perl on a linux system
to access an ms-access database? I can't seem to
get clear info on where this is even possible. I
did read that you can use a perl proxy on both
machines to do this - requiring perl on the win
machine. Any help is greatly appreciated. Gary

I did that a few years ago. The Access database was hosted on an NT
box, though, not on a Linux box. I think the heavy hitters hang out
on the perl DBI listserv. A FAQ on one of the comp.lang.perl.*
newsgroups or the documentation for the DBD/DBI modules should point
you in the right direction.
