Delete a linked file

Hello NG,

maybe someone can help me. I would like to delete a txt file which is linked
to an MsAccess table. I deleted the linked table but I am still not able to
delete the external txt file. Only when I exit MsAccess it seems possible to
delete the file.

Thanks in advance.

Rolly,
The file seems to be locked. I think you need to investigate the cause of this.
Have you opened a recordset based on this file?
If so, Did you also close this recordset?
Did you open the file another way?

Hope this helps
