I updated the Office service pack (1 & 2).
However, problem still there.
An error window was displayed when I attempted
to modify the Report, it says:
"A problem occured while MS Access was
communicating with OLE Server".
Is this something related to my problem? thanks.

This is a new one to me. My first suggestion would be split the database
and put the front-end on each user's workstation with the tables linked to a
shared database of tables, relationships, and data only on the server.
That's the way multiuser ought to be organized. My second suggestion would
be to make sure that each user's workstation is brought up to current (and
identical) levels of Service Packs and patches.
