'Mousehook' does not work in Acc97

Hi Experts,

I try to use the code supplied in the MouseWheelHook.zip in my
application to stop the mouse, but it does not work at all. I have
copied the Mousehook.dll into the same folder where the app is, have
then also tried the Windows/System folder, but no reaction. Also there
is no error message. Stephen's dbase works perfectly on my machine,
and everything in my app is setup exactly as it is in Stephen's sample
dbase so I cannot think of a reason why I cannot switch off the
mousewheel.

I work with Acc 97 SR 2, O/S = Win NT.

Does anyone have an idea ?

Thank you!

Regards,

Sabine

Did you also insert his code and execute the function to turn the wheel
off? I use his dll in Access 97 and it works perfectly for me.

Hi Rick,
Did you also insert his code and execute the function to turn the

wheel off?<

Yes, I have created buttons to different forms of my app and inserted
the code to see whether the problem may be connected to one form, but in
my app the code does not work and I also do not get any error message.

Any ideas ?

Sabine
