DeleteObject command

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could give me an example of the deleteObject
command. I would like to delete a temp. table just prior to running a make
table query.

I'm also confused as to the proper way to use a update query to update a
master table. Again, this would be run just prior to the deleteObject
command.

DoCmd.DeleteObject acTable, "TableName"
