Datasheet changing cell colours

In accessXP is it possible to have single cells a different colour
depending upon their data content. In Ac97 and 2000 you can only
change the whole datasheet(lying on a form) to a different colour
which is pretty useless and a bit 1900's There are various grip type
libraries in VB but just wondering if this feature is now built into
AcXP

There is Conditional Formatting (Access 2000 and later) for formatting
Controls in a Form or Report. This would work nicely in Continous Forms view
of a Form, and, if so defined, _might_ carry over if that Form were viewed
in Datasheet view.

As far as I am concerned, Datasheet view is really just for personal use --
has no place in a developed application -- and not worth any effort in
formatting, etc. That's personal preference, but it's a widely held view
among experienced users of Access. And, it is the reason I give you a
"might" above.
