importing forms and code modules

I recently changed for Access97 to Acces2000 and converted a significant
application to 2000. I have been used to designing forms in a 'dummy'
database and then importing them - with their code module - into the actual
front end. If I try this with Access 2000 I get a 'network connection may
be broken' error because the code seems to fail to register. The same
happens with an imported code module or a report containing code, but
tables and queries import OK. This is causing me a real headache. Does
anyone know what is going on here and - even better - a way around it?

Thanks
Jeff
