Help with Report

Hi there,

I have a text box on a report that displays a "Team" name. Although, in
the database, it is important for the team to be stored with three
different titles (S&F West, S&F East, S&F Atlantic), on the actual
report I want it to just say "S&F" for all three.

Any idea how I could accomplish this seemingly simple task?

Thanks!

If it's always "S&F" then use a label the caption of which is
"S&F".

If it's always the first three characters then use a calculated field in
the underlying query or a calculated control on the report:
= Left(Title, 3)

If it's always the characters up to but not including the first space then
use a calculated field in the underlying query or a calculated control on
the report:
=Left(Title, InStr(Title, " " ))

all expressions are air code.
