While you can do this, the thing to remember is that the Default Value won't do anything
until you next move to a New Record. If you want the drop down to change the value
displayed in this field for the current record, changing the Default Value won't do this
for you. You simply have to set the value of the control.
In the AfterUpdate event of the drop down set the value or default value of the other
control.
Me.txtOtherControl = Me.cboMyComboxbox
or
Me.txtOtherControl.DefaultValue = Me.cboMyCombobox
This will set the value or default value of the textbox to the value of the bound column
of the selected row in the combo box.
