form fails to... FIX

I finally discovered to problem. In the onLoad event I have a routine that
opens a recordset to count the number of records in the table. I had failed
to set the recordset to nothing before moving on and that led to the
problem.

Silly me....

Mike, it's good that you fixed your problem. But just a tip: posts in the
newsgroups can be seperated by hundreds of posts from different people all
over the world. The best way to keep it all under control, is to stay within
the original thread. So, do not post with a new subject line. Instead, hit
the "reply to" option to reply to one of the other posts in the thread. You
can even reply to your own posts, if you want to add more information (as
you have done here). This suggestion will increase your chance of getting
effective help.
