It's hard to tell what your question would have been, if you'd actually sent
one, but there is a message box builder available from MVP Arvin Meyer's
site, http://www.datastrat.com. Maybe that will help -- it does make it
rather easy.

thanks for replying larry. my question was basically how I can bold the
message inside the msgbox function as there are no formatting options
available programmatically. Or are there?

If you need something more than the msgbox you're probably better building a
custom form with all the formatting you require.
