We recently upgraded some of our department's machines from WINNT to
Windows 2000. Up until this point, we were running Access 2000 on
WINNT and had no problems with our databases. After the upgrade, we
have users running Win2000 and Access 2000.
Here's a brief description of the problem.
1. I have a main form that loads when the application is launched. It
contains a list box that queries for two columns from a table: an id
number and a descriptive text field. It then displays both of these
columns in the list box. The id number is the bound column.

2. After our upgrade, whenever the user launches any other form or
dialog box from that main window, once they return to the main window,
the text column has been blanked out. The ID column remains visible.
Any thoughts on what the trouble could be, or on what I can do to fix
the problem? I am a novice Access user and though I'm perfectly
willing to fiddle with the code, I don't know a great deal about VB.
Another note---we do have two users who are running Access 2000 and
Windows 2000 SP3. They do not have this problem. I am unsure if that
is because of the service pack or not.
Thanks to anyone who might be willing to help me tackle this problem!
