help w/ transferring data into report

I'm new to MS Access and having a problem with making a report from an
access database. I can't seem to expand the field in the report I called
"notes" in the database. All the text is cut off and I need to include it
in the report. I don't care if I see the all the text in the database. Can
anyone tell me how to do this in the report? I am trying to learn this
program in a HURRY as I have a project I need to have done by this weekend.
I'm entering several columns of data and then trying to the data into a
concise report with four or five of the columns of data. -thanks

You'll probably have it mastered by Saturday night and then will contribute a
few hours a week helping others here in the comp.databases.ms-access
newsgroup, right?

I'm not sure I understand your problem but MAYBE, setting the CanGrow
property of the report control to True might help.

Go to the Reports DESIGN view,

Right Click the text box that the "notes" is being displayed in and select
properties (if they aren't already visible)
On the FORMAT tab, look for CAN GROW, and make it YES.

This will allow the text box to grow vertically....to make it wider, just
resize in the design view.
