Get the value from a single cell

hello,

i am trying to create an aplication in which I have to get some single
values in different excel cells to place them together and update a table.

in other words, something like this:

value1= worksheet1.cellA23
value2=worksheet2.cellB52

update table tblTemp values value1, value2...

can i do this?

Yes you can. You can either create a SQL statement to do this in code or
create a Jet Query that takes parameters and do it that way. If you need
more help on the implementation you'll need to give a little more detail
(e.g. is the code in Excel or Access, What have you tried so far, etc)
