Windows RUN entry through Access VBA

Is there a way to use VBA code in an Access 2000 database to duplicate
the task of opening the RUN window in the Windows START menu, entering
text and hitting OK?
Any help is appreciated.

Use the 'Shell' command like so:

RetVal = Shell("cmd")

Where RetVal is variable indicating whether the command was successful (for
more info see Access help)
