Can I embed pictures?

P: n/a
Is there a way to embed a picture in a table? I want to store MP3 cover art
in a table along with artist info etc. Is that what an "OLE Object" is?
I'm trying to populate the table with VB (rs.fields("x").Value = xxx).

I'm more interested in being able to print the pics after I'm ordered them
than to display them on the screen (though that would be nice too).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Ed,

Yes, you can embed pictures in a table. Take a look at the Employees table in the sample
Northwind database that ships with all versions of Access. However, the preferred method
is to link to images stored as external files. Embedding images can lead to some fairly
serious bloat in the size of your database. Access stores embedded images at bitmaps,
which aren't known for being small in size.

You can display linked images in forms and reports, just as you can with embedded images.
