How to Make a backup of the databse

P: n/a
Is there a wat to make a command button for a backup of the database to
floppy discs.
1) I would rather just back up the information I have in the Tables.
Because that way it could fit onto one disc. I have a permanent backup copy
of all the tables/form/report/macro/query designs, so all that is inportant
is trhe info in the table.

2)If it is not possible, how could I use the command button to up the whole
thing, and it will prompt me for more then one disc. (But i would rather
way number one)

Create a new empty database on the floppy disk , then use File | Get
External Data | Import to import the tables from the database you want to
back up. It might, over all, be faster if you created the backup disk with
the tables on your hard drive and just copied it to the removable media.

But, of course, I feel obligated to caution that every time you modify the
queries, forms, reports, macros, or modules and "release" a new copy (even
if that is just to yourself), you need to back up those objects, too.
