New users & personal ID's...

MLH
If I create a new user in Access 97 and make
that user's name & Personal ID the same as I
did in an Access 2.0 database, will that user
have the same permissions & privileges on
database objects when I open the old Access
2.0 database files from within Access 97?

I would say yes, but then you have to already be using a legitimate
workgroup file, and thus would not the user already exist?

You can't use a different workgroup file other then the one created for the
actual database. (unless it is created with the same pid).
