Q: Accessing table fields from Report Detail On Format event

P: n/a
This is likely a very simple question, but one which is leaving me a
bit confused.

i have an image control on a report in Access97

then in the Detail's ON FORMAT Event, i have:

Private Sub Detail_Print(Cancel As Integer, PrintCount As Integer)
Me.img11.Picture = Me!PicturePath & Me!PictureFilename
End Sub

to this, i get the following error:
Error '2465'
Can't find the field 'PicturePath' referred to in your expression.

You may have misspelled teh field name, or the field may have been
renamed or deleted.

so obv, i'm not accessing my fields (PicturePath and PictureFilename)
properly. WHen i tried me.PicturePath, the intellisense showed it as
available.

SO what exactly am i doing wrong? or is there something else i should
be doing?

thx

Put a control in the report with the name PicturePath linked to the
field picturepath in your table. Set this control unvisible, since you
don't want to see it on the output of the report. Now it should work.
But working with pictures in reports could be very tricky I think.
Hopefully it works,
