Sorting a REPORT by a Calculated Field in group header

I have a report in which each record is about work booked to be done by my
company for a client. Each day of work is represented by one record.

The report is grouped by CLIENT -- so each page has a group header with the
client's info, and under that a detail of work done or to be done within the
date range specified when opening the report. The CLIENT Group footer has
totals and other calulated fields...each page is that particular clients
invoice for the spcified period.

On the group header I have a calculated control INVOICE DATE which is MIN
(DATE)...that is, it returns the earliest date within the detail.

In the sorting and grouping box, there is only the option to sort the
clients alphabetically...and what I REALLY want to do is sort them by
INVOICE DATE.

Hopefully someone can help me with this....
