email hyperlink fields?

P: n/a
I have a field which contains email addresses.

I would like to be able to click the email address field and have my email
program open up to send a message to that address (like you can do with
excel etc).

Is there some property setting etc that will enable me to do this? I can
only seem to create hyperlinks, but not email links.

I'm using Access 2000

Thanks
