Subreport Doesn't Display When Query Returns Zero

P: n/a
Greetings,

In Access 97 I have a subreport with two labels and a control. The
record source for the control is a simple SQL query referring to
another query:

SELECT DISTINCTROW qryInitPositions.PortfolioNum,
qryInitPositions.[Sum Of MovedShares]
FROM qryInitPositions;

Occasionally, the result of the query is zero (not null). When I view
the subreport, it shows the zero and the labels. However, in the main
report, only the non-zero results and their labels are visible. I've
experimented with CanGrow and CanShrink and with visible properties,
and still I can't get the zero result to display. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Suggestion: Explicitly apply the numeric format "0.00" to the textbox. Or for testing, apply the numeric
format +0.00;-0.00;"ZERO";"NULL" to the textbox.
