Q: How to sort on multiple selection in continuous form

P: n/a
(acc2002)

I have a (continuous) subform (not datasheet) designed to look like
columns of data. On each column "header" is a command button that when
pressed, sort the records via that field.

Does anyone have any ideas how to "select" multiple headers to sort on
(as if it were a datasheet and you select multiple columns, then
sort).

TIA,
John

No can do. Clicking a button moves the focus to that button. There is no way
to extend the focus to cover several buttons, then click them as a single
group.

Why not have each button add to the existing sort order? So when you click
column C, it sorts by C. Then if you click column A, it sorts by C+A (not
just by A), and so on. You'd just need a seperate button to remove the
current sort order & go back to square one.
