Win XP Screen Resolution (also ACG SOFT)

P: n/a
Hi folks,

For a few years, I've been using freeware from ACG Soft's site
(http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/attac-cg/) to provide my A97
users with a neat looking form which gives them a lowdown on their
system, including screen rsolution. I also use two functions from that
same freeware mdb to evaluate screen rsolution on my app's splash forms
and inform the user if their screen resolution is less than what I had
designed for (usually 800 by 600).

However, I'm having a lot of trouble with Win XP operating systems. The
functions from ACG Soft seem to randomly return 0 as horizontal and/or
vertical resolution when my apps are run on Win XP.

The code is too intensive to post, I think, and I'm not sure if it would
even be appropriate for me to do so. But essentially, the code is a Win
API call.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help or offer suggestions
(does anyone from ACG post here now?).

Thanks very much in advance.

I ended up using a differently coded API call from the Access Web, under
Screen Metrics.
