Hi, Steve,

How've you been?

It's been a long time since your "buddy" Joe Foster posted here. I think he
was devoting near full time to criticizing VB.NET and .NET in general last
time I knew what he was doing. I hope he didn't have a relapse of his
troubles with sleep apnea -- you know, he came close to dying of it a few
years ago. And, in recent times, I haven't been hanging 'round the VB
newsgroups or the forums at devx.com so he may still be posting on occasion.

I did get selected as a Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) for
Access this year, so I'm doing more posting to the microsoft.public...
newsgroups. It's a nice honor, with a few freebies to go along with that,
but nothing major -- and it wouldn't surprise me to get a Form 1099 for the
value of those freebies at the end of the year.

Stay off the ridgelines and keep a low profile,

Regards,

Larry

I apologize to all for inadvertently posting private e-mail in the
newsgroup. I will attempt to be more careful. Thanks for your patience.
