Outlook "notifying" Access of an incoming email? Opening an attachment?

To all,

A tall order, but any help on any segment of this would be
appreciated:

I have a table that needs to be populated with information contained
in an email attachment.

1. Is it possible for Outlook to "notify" Access that an email has
been received?

2. Can the message from Outlook identify the "location" of the email
(the Outlook folder it's in) ?

3. How about some code to go to the folder and open the attachment for
viewing?

4. How about saving the attachment to a non-Outlook folder, say on the
C:\ drive?
TIA

Forgot to say:

I'm using Access97 and Outlook 2002.

The incoming emails are routed to different folders in Outlook
according to the email address of the sender.

TIA

See "Inbox Watcher" at http://datafast.cjb.net/
2. Can the message from Outlook identify the "location" of the email
(the Outlook folder it's in) ? Maybe. Not sure... You'd be best off asking that in the Outlook NG.
3. How about some code to go to the folder and open the attachment for
viewing? could be risky, especially if it's got a virus in it.
4. How about saving the attachment to a non-Outlook folder, say on the
C:\ drive?
TIA
