Auto Detect New file On FTP Site

Hello,
I am currently running a dos based FTP commands to grab a file at a
certain time
and then it imports it into access and updates accordingly.
The problem is that I have this set to run at specific times, and if
the new file is not present the application fails, etc.
What I am looking for is a way to have the FTP app periodically (
every 5 minutes) check the site and folder for new files.
If a new file exists do one thing, else just quit and check again ...

Any ideas?
thanks in advance!

Nothing doing.
Leavve a form open that has a timer on it. IN your ontimer event,
check for the existence of the file. (use the Dir command). I think
it's documented on datafast.cjb.net or www.mvps.org/access
