MS Access and Digital Cameras - (Without the Typo)

I'm trying to build a database that stores images directly from a digital
camera. At least that's what I would like to do. Each image would have a
record associated with it.

The steps are as follows:

I open up a form and enter some info.
Then pick up my camera and take a picture
When I'm done taking the picture, it automatically shows up on the form I
have open.

I'd like to be able to use any digital camera, but that's not critical.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Richard,

have open.

Do you only take pictures of your computer? ;-)
Your camera has a permanent connection with the computer?

Seems to me that you have to be more explicit about what you are after.
It is however possible that pictures show up on your forms if there is a 'connection' (e.g.
picturenumber stored in the record)

You would NOT store your pictures in the same database would you?
Search GOOGLE (this group) and look for 'Images in database'

Hope this helps

Well it sounded right in my head. Let me try it again.

I want to create a rolodex with pictures of my friends. I create a record
for them and then I snap a picture of them. Then I need Access to grab the
picture and associate it with that particular record, without too much work.

So, I create a record, snap a picture and link it to that record.

Hope that helps.
