A97 FileSearch Object - problem

Hi all,

Two machines out of eight that are running an A97 database stored on a
server are generating an "Invalid Procedure Call or Argument" error when
encountering the .Filename property of the FileSearch object. The other
six machines have no problem with it. Whatever I set the property to
(e.g. *.txt, *.doc etc.) has no effect and the error still appears, so I
guess it's the property itself that is causing the error and not its
value. All machines are running DAO 3.51. Does anybody know why this is
happening and what the fix might be? TIA.
