We are in the process of converting Access 2002 tables into MS SQL. I
used a file DSN located on a spot on the network I KNOW everyone has
access to and it works for the lion's share of users. There are a
small group of laptop users, however, who can't connect to the new
tables. I can go into these machines and manually set up the ODBC
connection and link the tables with link table manager so it's not a
permissions issue. It is very annoying to update these folks when
changes are made. Has anybody seen this? Am I losing my mind?
