Porting an existing Access application to VB

Does anybody know if there is an application / utility that will convert
(port) a finished Access application over to VB so that it can indeed be
compiled as a stand alone appliction. It certainly seems that there is a
huge need for such a utility.

There are some products out there that claim to do it. If you search here
(Google Groups) I think you'll find that they have been less than a
complete success. Access has nice report writer and data event-rich
forms absent in VB.

There's a list of such at my website. But as John states there are problems too.
