Hi all,
Could someone tell me how I can tell (in code) if a table in the current db
is a linked one or not?

Thanks,

Gerry

A linked table has information about what it is linked to in the Connect
property of the TableDef.

Test:
Len(dbEngine(0)(0).TableDefs("MyTable").Connect)

<F1>Connect Property

Example:

If CurrentDB.TableDefs("YourTable").Connect = "" Then
MsgBox "This is a local table"
Else
MsgBox "Linked table. Connect= " & _
CurrentDB.TableDefs("YourTable").Connect
EndIf
