Need Help--Reports over specified period of time

I need help trying to extract by query records that are 30 days or
more past the current date.

I am trying to track loss reporting and want to be able to identify
losses that are still open after 30 days or more from the current
date.

I am a beginner user of MS Access so please address your response to
my level.

As the criteria for the date field, write:
<= Date() - 30

Open the source query of your report and add

<Now()-30

to the criteria under the past current date field
