Compact scheduler Q158937

I have read Q158937 regarding making a compact scheduler and it works
fine but I do not want to rename my db, I want the original name. Can
someone please help?

Thanks.

In fact, I'd like to compact the original db, have it named the same
and make a copy for back-up. Any ideas?

You could have a dummy DB that did the renaming for you. If I
remember correctly, the keyword in VB is Name, not rename.... Then
you could do something like use MichKa's SOON, and have it run in the
autoexec of the dummy DB.
