designing a query for a neophyte

HI folks,

I'm a neophyte Access administrator and user. I've got a database working
pretty well that I received a lot of help on here. Thanks! I supervise a
small children's crisis program and keep data on the kids and families
that come through. I've been able to create some pretty complex (for me)
queries, but now I've been asked to create a report and I don't have the
faintest idea of how to do it.

I'm trying to create a query. I have a table: tblClients that keeps
demongraphic information on the client's in my program. We wanted to look
at creating a sort of scatter graph based on age. It's out sense that the
kids we've been serving are getting younger and younger and we wanted to
create a query that would look at age over the last 3 years or so. So what
I want is to have years across the bottom of the graph and age up the
side, I'm guessing that this will require some sort of crosstab query, but
I'm been using the crosstab query wizard over the past couple of days
trying to familiarize myself with it and I don't seem to be getting the
concept well.

If someone could point me in the right direction where I could look at an
example of what I'm looking for, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Randy

Randy, Go to the help menu in your Access program and search on Charts.
Access has a selection of charts you may be able to use along with
instructions on how to set one up.
