Main Report / Sub Report Relationship

Hi:

I have a main report that calls a sub-report which contains several pages of
data. One of the column headings in my sub-report is called "Funds". If
several records contain the same Fund Name then only the Fund Name of the
first record is printed. If the Fund Name changes, then only the New Fund
Name of the first record is printed and so on. I put the codes to do this
in the Fund Name Header section of the sub-report.

But now, I want to also print the Fund Name on the very first line whenever
a new page is printed. I know I can do this in the Page Header of the
sub-report. Ex. FundName.visible = true. However, since the Main Report
doesn't recognize the "Page Header" of the sub-report, then do I have to
move the codes into the Page Event of the Main Report. If so, I have the
following questions ...

1) In the Main Report, how do I detect that a new page has been printed in
the sub-report ?
2) In the Main Report, how do I control the property of a field in the
sub-report ? For example, in the Main Report, how do I tell the Fund Name
field in the sub-report to become visible ( whenever a new page is printed
in the sub-report. ) ?

Your help is much appreciated

Becky.
