Going to an Intersection

Is there a more elegant way of going to the intersection of any row on a
sheet with a named column than the following:

CurrentRow = ActiveCell.Row
ActiveWorkbook.Names.Add Name:="SheetCurrentRow",
RefersToR1C1:="=master!R" & CurrentRow

Range("SheetCurrentRow AcAbbr").Select ???
Cells(ActiveCell.Row, 4).Select or Range("places Names").Select

both work, but don’t meet the requirement. I assume there is a slicker
route.

If you're actually using Access to do this, I can understand why it won't work.

You need to post this question to an Excel newsgroup - this group's subject is
MS Access, the Relational Database Management tool.
