Unable to Close tables

DP
Does anybody happen to have any idea on that:
Why in MS-ACCESS 2000, when closing the tables , I get the dialogue
message box (asking if I want to interrupt the code being running)
with Yes No options, and Yes is not accessible, so that closing the
table is finally impossible!!?
