Keep Memo field from highlighting text when click in field?

Is there any way to stop Access from highlighting all the text in a
memo box? If I click again the text is no longer highlighted, but I
would like to get it to not highlight at all.

Thanks for any help,

Thanks for the response. It works perfectly. ;-)

In the Control's Enter event, to place the cursor at the beginning of the
text:

If Not IsNull([FieldName]) Then
[FieldName].SelStart = 0
End If

To place the cursor at the end of the text, use:

[FieldName].SelStart = Len([FieldName])

This will only be in effect if you tab into the control, otherwise
the cursor will be where ever you click in the control.

Hi,

The easy way is to use the Tools > Options > Keyboard tab > Behavior
Entering Field options to either "Go to start of field" or "Go to end of
field."
