2 New Member
Dear Developers Good day.

What I have is SharePoint linked table displayed in MS Access. what I want is VBA macro to refresh the link, filter the records of specific field, edit other filed of the filtered table and finally save the table to SharePoint.

Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Best regards

Hi Abdulnaser.

Welcome to Bytes.com.

There seems to be a misunderstandin g here as this is not a technical question but a request for someone to do your own work for you.

That's not what this site is about. We answer technical questions in order to help you, the members, to do your own work better. Often we're happy to share code that does certain tasks for you but mostly we're here to help educate.

I'm sure you meant no disrespect with your question but, while most of us are happy to spend many hours advising and suggesting, when simply asked for work to be done this can be seen as inappropriate.

I will lock this thread now but if you'd like to post a question that fits within our guidelines I'm sure there will be many who will offer their help & support.

Hello In order to perform a hetrogeneous join (I think that's what they're called) between MySQL and another database, I've created an Access database containing linked tables from each datasource. I create the linked tables without any problems, clicking on "save password" before selecting the desired tables. I can then access both tables fine from within the Access GUI.

Well, I sure could use some advice (& sympathy). In my Access program I have a small table (200 entries) linked to a main table of over 35,000 entries. While trying to enter a small amount of data into a new table (linked to the main table), I deleted the Zip code column. As you can guess, now the large table doesn't have a zip code column. SO! Can anyone pls tell me if I'm SOL on getting those ZIP Codes back(!), or, at least how can I add...

Can anyone share so insights as to anyone having successfully been able to upload an access database into SharePoint where the end users can alter, edit, deleted and save the information on the back end so that everyone else could see the changes made by others? The current SharePoint v2.0 allows me to upload a document and when I do it this way it will successfully take the whole database and even open it up in access but the problem we are...

I successfully linked an Excel file into my Access database and using an Update query pull in information to my Quote log table. That works fine. Now I am trying to go the other direction, and use information from my Quote log table in Access to update a different Excel spreadsheet. I created an Update Query using the Access table as my source data (some of it's field) and selected the corresponding Excel fields. It doesn't work though,...

Hi, I have Access Database in Sharepoint and I have VBA code in Excel which queries from that Database, however, everytime I run my VBA code I get: "The Microsoft Access database engine cannot open or write to the file 'file\path\to\database\'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view and write its data" If I have both the excel and access database locally, it is working. However if it is in web, it...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
