The barcode textbox should just be for the StudentID as that uniquely identifies the student

ok i understand. now how if we print a bank slip for a student number 223344 and after they deposit in bank we are going to scan this slip using barcode scanner . then how the track will work and send the student information to Paid/Unpaid txtbox. like i made a textbox name tracking another Paid/Unpaidtxt. the default value for Paid/Unpaidtxt is Unpaid. after scan it will turn to paid. now how this will work.

Back when computer dinosaurs roamed the earth and the precursors to today's Internet were tiny flocks of TDMs living symbiotically with the silicon giants, tracking access to data processing resources was much simpler: you logged in with a userID and password, and when you were done you ended your session by logging out (or occasionally by being disconnected). Connection time was easy to measure, and it made sense to both the customer...

Does anyone have a solution for tracking hardware, os and office products for their organization? We are looking for a way to track this information and then assign it to an employee and track its life through our organization until its death or sale. I would like to write something in Access to accomplish this, but would like to know how people handle this process physically. Do you use bar codes, do you just enter...

Very strange problem: Executing my query against MS Access database using OleDbProvider for Access, I am getting the value for first two columns '0' instead of '1' in DataGrid. But if I connect to SQL Server using OleDbProvider, it shows me the correct value i.e. 1 wherever it should be. To debug i write the query to a file. Now copy the query from that file to Acess SQL View and run. Here it shows the correct value 1 for the first two...

Hi everyone, I am searching for a python library for barcode recognition. We have developed a rather complex application for document tracking and document management in python/Zope, called PAFlow (www.paflow.it: sorry, most of the information is in Italian...). As our project is completely free software, we will need a library that is free software too.

My client is a baseball league who started a Kids Club which has membership cards that have a barcode and their own specific number to monitor the number of times that the KidsClub members come to the games. They don’t have any software to go with the cards though. They asked me if I could help. I created a simple table in Access to capture the name, address, telephone, email, number of games attended. The cards have a barcode on them, and they...

Does anyone know what kind of codes Fedex uses for its barcodes and how it is translated into the tracking number. I have a database to I use to log incoming packages. I am able to scan any other barcodes and see the tracking number that is on the package, but when I scan the fedex barcode I get a very long number that does not resemble the actual tracking number. I know that there are double density barcodes that has to be broken down to...

I am working on a POS system using Access 2010. Our receipts print on a receipt printer (using generic/text only driver). The receipt is created as an Access report. This works fine. However, I am trying to add a barcode, but that portion will not print. It shows on the Access report's print preview, but nothing on the print. There is just a blank space after the text where the barcode should be. Any ideas how to fix?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
