Tab Control Loses Sections after Switching Pages

1 New Member
I have a Tab Control which loses the "header portion" when switching between pages. Is there a way to force the tab control header to appear?

Guess.

Is your form too long?

I've renamed the thread for you as Section =/= Selection.

Can you explain more clearly what it is you're asking about. A simple sentence is fine if it states the question clearly. Yours doesn't. Please explain exactly what is going wrong.

Dear Listmembers, I am setting up data entry for a questionnaire. In the Form I have created, I have 2 pages with 50 questions on each page. My question is: How can I go from the last question on page to the first question on page 2 automatically without having to use the mouse? I have been trying but I could not find out. Thank you very much for any help you can provide, Shamet

I'm using VS 2003 my project uses COM interop and the Tao Framework. I have a custom control derived from UserControl. It implements many functions similar to the Tao's SimpleOpenGLControl, for example I also have a MakeCurrent() method. Inside of the overriden method for CreateParams() I also set the CS_OWNDC bit so that my control has a private DC. During instantiation of my control I make a call to User32.dll to GetDC(IntPtr...

I have a Panel control containing a few TextBox controls. The Panel is originally enabled, I enter data into the TextBox controls. When I submit, the Panel is disabled during the PostBack and the TextBox controls render greyed-out, and I can see the values in the TextBox controls....this is what I expected. I submit again, the Panel is enabled during the PostBack. All of the TextBox controls within the Panel are now enabled, however,...

Is there a way to get a user control to remember its state across pages? I have a standard page layout I use with a header and footer as user controls. Each page uses the same layout by means of copy paste (I hear this will improve in ASP.Net 2 via master pages). When I navigate from one page to the next the header and footer user controls lose their state because they are effectively different instances of the user control. Is there...

Hello, I created a windows form with vs.net 2005 / c#. This control has a TabControl with 16 TabPages. On every TabPage there are a diffrent number of Controls. - Every TabPage has a background picture. they are all the same picture (from a resouce file). There seems to be no way easy to make a TabControl transparent... my problem: while switch the visible TabPage the form / TabControl begans to flicker. it takes a second (and I mead...

I have a web user control that contains a serializable class. I persist this class in viewstate, but on postback, the viewstate is null. Is this behavior by design? This technique works fine on regular pages -- just not in a control. Is the main page's viewstate interfering with the control's viewstate? Thanks,

The LostFocus event of datagrids is fired when the focus is added to a cell. How do you go about detecting it when the control as a whole has lost focus to another control? Slightly confused by this! Greg.

Group, I'm using Visual Studio 2003 to create an ASP.NET 1.1 project which contains nested server user controls in order to create a tree-like hierarchy. The tree is a sort of question and answer dialog. The user answers a question, and the next subquestion appears (using dynamic html display:none|block) depending on his answer.

Hi, I have a tab control with couple of pages on it, like: InfoPage, Page1, Page2, Page3. On each page there are various text boxes and combo boxes. What I need to do is to make one of these comboboxes (i.e. cboPeriod1) to be on Page1, Page2 and Page3, but not on the InfoPage. The problem is that the control needs to be exactly the same. This is simplified - actually I have 5 comboboxes and 10 reactangles, for which the VBA code...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
