How do I show the satellite view of google maps

I have a button on a form which when pressed displays a google map of the
address.

Code is

Private Sub Googlemap_Click ()

MakeURL ("")

End Sub
Private Sub MakeURL(strType As String)

On Error GoTo Err_MakeURL

Dim strURL As String
Dim objBrowser As Object

strURL = CreateUrl(MemAd d1, TownID.Column(0 ), County, PostCode)

'If strType = "Driving" Then
'strURL = strURL & "+" & "to" & "+" & CreateUrl(Me.To Address,
Me.ToCity, Me.ToState, Me.ToZipCode)
'End If
strURL = "http://maps.google.com/maps?q=" & strURL &
"&iwloc=A&hl=en ; t=h"

Dim obj As Object
Set obj = CreateObject("I nternetExplorer .Application")
With obj
.Navigate2 strURL
.Visible = True
End With
Set obj = Nothing

Exit_MakeURL:
Exit Sub

Err_MakeURL:
MsgBox Err.Description
Resume Exit_MakeURL

End Sub

Works fine as far as it goes, but shows either the Map view, Satellite view
or Terrain View, depending on the last time I accessed the maps. Low do I
force it to show the Satellite view and how can I set the zoom level

Thanks for any advice

Phil

Hi Phil,

I believe you will have to post that question to Google Maps to see if there
is a switch you can include in the URL.

The code looks familiar. :)

I wouldn't know. You might want to go to google maps then press the
"see more maps" link then Developer Tools. Maybe look at the API link.

If you visit maps.google.com and select "satellite", you get a pic. But it is not <img href="...">, and it gets quick nice response to mouse movements and click. Does anyone know how this is implemented? I checked the source code, looks like a ActiveX control(I am using IE, of course). Any details about this? Thanks,
