help needed to refresh combobox

101 New Member
My project is in MS Access.
In that I have one Form in which I have some Comboboxes.
1st one is Independent,
2nd one is dependent on first one,
3rd one is dependent on 1st and 2nd both.
After I load the form when I select an item from 1st one it will generate list for 2nd one, then I select an item from 2nd one it will generate list for 3nd one. Uptil this, all r done well.
But after these selection if I change the selection of 1st combobx then it will generate new list for 2nd one.but when I gotfocus on 2nd one after selecting an item from 1st one it have to delete the previous selection from combobox.so it have to show me blank combobox again same as when I load the form at that time all comboboxes are blank.
So it means I want to refresh the combobox only.
I can get new list whenever I select new item from 1st combobox.for that i used PalletNo_combo. Requery in afterupdate event of 1st combobox.
after that or before that I want to put thing like this
ItemNo_combo.Re fresh
So it will just remove previous value from combobox and refresh the combobox.

Put the following as the first line of your after update code of the first combo box, so that when the combobox is requeried, the previous selected value will be removed.

ItemNo_combo = Null

I have a ComboBox on my form, and I set it's DataSource to an ArrayList of custom objects. Everything loads fine, all the entries I initially loaded into the ArrayList appear in my ComboBox. However, while my program is running and I add a new object to that ArrayList - this ComboBox is not updating to reflect the change. I have gone so far as to try: clientList.Invalidate();

The user can change the content, and the combobox ' rowsource in-turn will change. This all works great in my mainform, but...

Hi, I've been having a similar issue to what is described in the "refresh a form" post with a ComboBox that is not being refreshed after adding a new value on a seperate form. The second form is being opened via the standard DoCmd call. I've tried adding Requery in AfterUpdate, Form_Current, etc. to no avail.... The test form has the combobox and a command button. Here's my test code: Private Sub cmdAddCatgCd_Click() On Error GoTo...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
