Displaying multiple pictures on a form from different records

1 New Member
I need to have a form that displays a group of 20 pictures in 4 rows of 5 pictures. The pictures are of people. Each Subject record has a picture field. I have a query written that selets the group of records I want. Now I could use some help displaying just the pictures on a form in a 4 rows of 5 pattern. I don't want to have a continuous form with 20 pictures in a row. (although if that were the case I would have finished already). The list of pictues will change so I can't set the source to a specific record either. How do you say: Display all the pictures from my query on my picture form? I appreciate your help with this problem. Thanks.

I've been searching and searching for this and there are lots of posts - but very few answers. I have a SQL2000 Database that has jpg images in a table that I want to display in a webpage. I can return all the other information in the database except the pictures. I can't take the images out and link them. I have 2 different results. The code included below gives me a page that says "This is a picture:" and then box with a red X. ...

I tried to ask this question several days ago, but I didn't explain my application correctly. Basically I want to have one record from table "A" and I want to display, say, 5 records from table "B" which are specified by the one record from table "A"... And all on the same form. I do not want to use a subform. The record fields from table "B" must be displayed in text boxes with the record fields from the single record from table "A". ...

Hello Accessors I have some reports created in Access that are very good for what they do. However, it seems to me that when you are displaying information you don't need to print out that a printer-friendly report is not the best way to go. So, I tried converting one of my Access reports to an Access form. I selected the continuous view to allow displaying multple records but when I went to define my sorting and grouping there was none...

I'm familiar with the Data Controls, however what I have is a website where users can upload multiple pictures. I want to display these pictures in a table, that has 3 columns in each row, and for instance if a user has 3 pictures, one row of three pictures will display, or if they have 5 pictures, 2 rows, the first with 3 pics and the second with 2 pics will be rendered. How can I do something like this?

I'm setting up an Access2003 database with pictures. I put a bound ole picture ctrl on a form that's source is the table that contains the pictures and follow ALL the directions for embedding a picture. The ctrl in the form only displays the filename of the picture. The underlying table, when opened in table view, shows the word "package" in the field. When I double-click on either it opens the picture, but I can't get it to display. ...

Hi All, I am struggling with setting up my first system of tables, forms, and reports, and could use your help! I am setting up a database to keep track of the production of a produced item. The item is a panel, with a specific texture. There are standard panels that are then produced in a limited number of specific textures. The number of panels/project varies, so I keep track of the actual number of panels per project with the count:...

I have been researching for several hours on the best way to display images in continous forms in Access 2003. For example, I want to display employee name, email, phone, and picture for each record in the recordset. I can have the pictures converted to any usable format, use OLE or linking, whatever needs to be done. So far, the 3 possible solutions I have found are: 1) OLE objects - if you don't have bitmaps associated just...

Each time I move to a different record, I want to display a picture, if available, stored separately from the database. If I have more than one picture, then I will put navagation arrows below the first picture shown. I know how to display these pictures without having them embedded in the tables. The form is bound to a table with PK=autonum. I have a table=tPicNames Key AutoNumber (PK) ptr Long Integer (FK) FileName ...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
