hyperlink default location

I have recently updated from A97 to A2003.

In A97, when browsing to insert a hyperlink, it would open the folder
location specified as the 'Default Database Folder'.

In A2003, it doesn't do that. It looks in the 'current folder'. If I
'browse', I just get the root directory.

Is there any way I can get it to point to a default location?

I have given the field a default value which is an email-address. The default value is (for example): "mailto:mymail@here.com". Access2000 correctly inserts that information into the field everytime

I am using asp .net 2.0. I have a hyperlink asp control on my web page page1.aspx. On clicking this hyper;link, I would like to open page2.aspx (which is in the same web application) in a new IE window without scrollbars, status bar, tool bar and with specified height and width. Can it be done on "onload" event of the page2.aspx in javascript?

I had posted this problem earlier and just noticed that the Hyperlink is the problem. Apparently, it doesn't figure out the path correctly. It uses the path of the file it is in, even if it is a control. I have 2 files "displayCompanyJobs.aspx" and "displayCompanyOverview.aspx" which are in both the folder "/jobseeker/" and "/employer/". I have a user control "displayCompanyJobs.ascx" that is in my /applicant/

I've been using the hyperlink base in A97 healthily and happily for some time. I'm now trying to do the same in A2003 and having problems: If I set the hyperlink base to c:\temp and link in 'c:\temp\myfile.doc', it saves 'temp\myfile.doc' as the hyperlink, instead of just the filename. Then, of course, when it tries to open it, it cannot find the file 'c:\temp\temp\myfile' What's this supposed to mean? Must the hyperlink base be...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
