access data into mysql script

hi,

I am searching for a script to use in access vb script,
to convert/upload the access db to mysql

there are serveral converters, but I use something that can build in in the
script.

the reason is because the websites use now asp and access db, but its slow.
access must still be used because is a part of a whole application build in
access.

Just the data of 2 columns bust be load into the mysql db

Couldn't you attach the MySQL table to the Access database using ODBC,
and then simply write an Append query?

Does anyone know how I can use vba in access to run a script that is stored as a file. I can make a connection to mysql database and run sql statements but this sql statement is very long (creates many tables with hundreds of fields). I can run the script in the mysql interface but I want to do this from my access front end to make it easy for the user to set up the tables. I need something like myconnection.execute...

Is it possible to call a remote php script from within Access? I'm thinking something like: DoCMD... http://www.domain.com/scripts/dataquery.php DoCmd.OpenQuery "update_data", acNormal, acEdit ..... So the PHP script does something on the server database, then when a linked table is viewed within access, the data changes have been made?

All, I have read through lots of postings regarding my concerns, but I haven't found what I am looking for. The center (non profit University) where I work collects scientific data about subjects enrolled in studies related to respiratory diseases. Both lab data and questionnaire information are collected. We use W2K as PC operating systems, MS Access XP, XP Developer, and Visual SourceSafe. Our databases use a front end – back end...

I posted this to the adonet newsgroup and was recommended to post here. Thank you for any help: Okay, I need a bit of advice. I have an ODBC data adapter being filled by AS400 which is very slow. If I were they user I would think that the computer locked and try to stop the program, reboot, whatever. So because management is still "investingating" ways of getting a faster connection from our primary AS400 (which will never go away)...

Hi, I'm building a shell script that store information in a MySQL 5.0 database. One of the data I store in the table is a text file. I use a BLOB type for this text data. If I try to import it in MS Access 2002 the BLOB column is converted to a OLE type, but when I try to open it in access I get this error: "A problem occurred while Miscrosoft Access was communicating with the OLE server or ActiveX Control. Close the OLE server and...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
