How to display picture (OLE) in form ?

I have a table with an OLE field that contains a picture.
Unfortunately, when I make a form, the picture isnt visible on it, I only
see a description and must double click the pic to open it (an external
application is opened to show the pic).
How can I make the pic visible in my form ?

Hi, I am making a real estate database for my company. I am new to access. I made a picture field and I want to have different pictures for every record. My problem is no matter if I have an OLE filed or not I cannot see my picture in the form and report views. My other dilemma is that I want to create ASP code to connect the database and pull up the information from the web. So my questions are: 1- What type of field should the...

I have a client who would like to have several pictures associated with one system. I have read about storing only the pathname to save OLE overhead and have set-up a form for my client to browse/add one picture at a time to a system. Now he would like to 'view' all of the thumbnails associated with any system on a single form. I can setup a main/subform scenario, but how do I show all of the pictures as thumbnails. I was using the...

I want to store and display (on a form or a report) multiple pictures per record in an access database. The pictures are not stored within the database. They are stored as files and the database contains the paths to the pictures. The database consists of two tables: TABLE DATA ID Name LastName

I have a simple problem: I have an Access database (images.mdb) that has 2 columns: one is the id if the picture (an integer) and one (column named picture) is a field of type OLE Object which contains an image (it can store jpg, bmp, gif, but I don't know what image is stored inside). I want to retrieve the picture stored in the database and identified by a given id and display it in a web page (.aspx). I write in Visual C#, but it does...

I would like to start off by saying i'm in no way an expert by any means. I've had access since 97 and way back then set up a database for eBay stock. i had the old micrografx picture publisher program also installed. i got bloat i guess it's called due to the jpgs unbound in my form view, to get around this and still have pictures i created a start up database then just copied and renamed it for the different items on eBay, postcards,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
