Setting User Defined Paper Sizes

Does anyone know how to set user defined paper sizes for and Epson LQ570E
Printer under Windows XP Prof?
The driver does not allow for user defined paper sizes.. So setting them
from a report property, or through paper selection seems to be out of the
question..
I have repeatedly sent e-mails to Epson, but they offer no solutions. (All
the references show the simple method when the driver shows the user defined
as one of the choices)

I need to print tractor feed checks that are 8.5 by 7 Inches. All the
printer wants to do is 8.5 x 11, or other envelope and odd sizes.

I know others have had this problem, and I thank anyone who can help.

If this is Access 2002 or 2003, you could set the PaperSize property of the
Printer object to the constant acPRPSUser, i.e.:
Printer.PaperSi ze = acPRPSUser

For earlier versions, it kinda messy. See:

Dear list; I am a css newbie, and hope you can help. I am trying to make my page print out horizontal when user hits a print button in my page. the print button invokes javascript print.window() function, equivalent to selecting "print" on the browser menu. From what I understand, I should be able to force horizontal printing, regardless of browser default. I tried with: <HEAD> <style type="text/css" media=print> {size: landscape}

Hi guys this is the second time I place my question here, so I spect that at least SOMEBODY takes his time for reading it. Well, my problem is: I have an application that needs to dynamically set the sizes of the paper when printing, and I need custom page sizes, not the normal ones. The problem is that in windows 2000 / XP, it's necessary to define a paper form before printing with a custom size.

My organization is developing a set of "standards" for websites built inhouse. The first question that comes to mind is what would be a good standard default size for <p> text? 12 point? Which begs the question, what unit of measurement should we use for specifying font sizes, points or ems? Thanks. -Fleemo

I use a DYMO labelwriter with my Access 97 database. I just purchased a new computer and in the report section under page setup/paper size, the new computer keeps changing the size automatically. I know something must be different on the machines. But what? I have checked everything ! Thanks, Ira

I am producing reports (via Crystal XI) on a web server. I use a variety of paper sizes in Crystal to produce PDF output. In development everything works fine since I can change the paper size through the Windows interface and temporarily specify that as my default printer while desi8gning in Crystal. In a production deployment I need to be able to specify the printer and paper size to use for Crystal to be able to export to a PDF...

Hi, I'm using PHP 4.4.4 on Apache 2 on Fedora Core 5. PHP was installed using Apache's apxs and the php library was installed to /usr/local/php. However, when I set my "error_reporting" setting to be "E_ALL", notices are still not getting reported. The perms on my file are 664, with owner root and group root. The php.ini file is located at /usr/local/lib/php/php.ini. Any ideas why the setting does not seem to be having an effect? ...

I have a 'printable' button to generate printable output and want this to use A3 if available, irrespective of the user's default printer setting. Is there any way to set a page's preferred printed paper size from HTML? Portable if possible, but IE-only would be better than nothing.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
